- You can open a children’s savings account in BGN, Euro, US dollars for every child under the age of seventeen.
- Minimum amount of just 10 BGN/EUR/USD.
- Additional amounts can be deposited by you or any other person without limitations.
- The interest rate gets higher with the increase of the amounts and passing of time
- If you withdraw part of the deposited sum you keep all the interest income accrued up to that moment.
- If you close the savings account after the first year, you will be paid the full interest, accrued up to the moment of closure.
- The high interest rate, as of the date of the child’s 18th birthday, continues to be valid after this day.
- No taxes and commissions are applied for opening and servicing the children’s savings account.
Operations with the Children's Savings Account UnionFuture are done in accordance with the requirements of the Bulgarian legislation.
If the savings account is closed during the first year, Unionbank pays annual interest rate of 2% for BGN, 1.5% for EUR and 1% for USD for the time the funds were with the bank and a withdrawal commission is applied.
